They have also made huge progress with the eldest recently achieving a distinction in her grade 8 exam. "Schubert's Fantasy in F minor is indeed a masterpiece and masterfully performed by you both together! You brought out the beautiful melody with its later almost haunting variations and expressed the contrasts between the four movements from lyrical to the dramatic! It really was a most thrilling performance of a very demanding composition. People were fascinated to watch your four hands on the keyboard and amazed at the various finger positions at times!"

"The final song, Life of the Party, had character with a good feel for the style evident with the accent
consistent and the nuances of pitching were most effective. Rhythmic singing and very effective
projection of the essence of the song in this very well communicated and convincing performance.

A very well projected and musically committed performance with the sequencing and pacing of the
programme well managed. Stylistic realisation was strong and character was effectively conveyed. Phrases had shape and dynamics were musically applied.
Diction was very good throughout. A fine sense of performance."
